Hallie Driscoll’s work explores the tangled threads of memory, identity, and perception through both painting and mixed media sculpture. Drawing from personal experiences and the complexities of her childhood, she uses art as a means of reflection, healing, and transformation.
She incorporates materials such as dried flowers, fabric, embroidery, beads, wire, and natural elements like wood to evoke a sense of tactility and vulnerability. These components reflect the layered, imperfect, and often fragmented nature of memory. Flocking and delicate textures serve as metaphors for softness within strength—evidence of resilience shaped by time.
Through her practice, Driscoll creates intimate, emotionally charged spaces where personal history becomes universal, and where trauma is not merely remembered, but reimagined.
In addition to her artistic practice, Hallie creates small scale embroidery for the home under the business The Blank Space Collection where she teaches embroidery workshops and brings her work to local flea markets and pop-up events.
